The Specifics

An approximate time scale for a Willow-style conversion is currently around 8 weeks. Please get in touch to discuss lead times and when our next available build slot is. Predicted timescale may increase if you would like our help in sourcing a base vehicle.

A Willow conversion is currently £28,000 including VAT. Price varies depending on customisations but this includes everything detailed in this specification section. Please note that the base vehicle sold separately.

Leave nothing behind, the Willow layout has room for everything you could possibly need on your holiday. Some of our previous customers live in their campers full-time and have never had a problem with space!

◦ The larger of the two seats opens into a storage chest

◦ Another cupboard under the table, this cabinet has a removable back (which could be used to create the perfect pet area into the boot, giving your furry friend extra space or, alternatively, for storage of longer objects like surfboards or kayaks)

◦ There’s also even more storage above the cab area (we use this to store extra bedding, big coats etc in our camper)

◦ Large L shaped kitchen (with a massive amount of storage space)

◦ Our previous conversions included a Quartz worktop and splash back, this is still an optional extra however, to save weight, we plan to use oak in our future conversions.

◦ 2 ring gas hob, gas certified (optional add-on to go gas-free)

◦ Maxx air fan (with climate control and remote located above the hob, perfect to extract cooking smells)

◦ 3.9kg gas bottle (in purpose built locker, doubling as a third seat)

◦ Whilst hooked up, a 2 double socket where you could plug in your airfryer, toaster or coffee machine etc.

◦ 400mm x 400mm stainless steel sink

◦ Brushed steel hot and cold tap

◦ 45L Alpicool fridge (with LG compression, making this fridge one of the most energy efficient on the market)

◦ Pull out oak table with even more storage cupboards underneath

◦ 2KW “Autoterm” diesel heater (remote controlled, only uses 0.25 L of fuel per hour and fully warms the van in under 15 minutes)

The boot area has been designed to be able to fit multiple bikes and has masses of room for all your needs. It is easily cleaned due to the luxury laminate flooring, making muddy bikes or boots no problem. It also has a divider to keep your stored items away from the electrics but with easy access to both fuse boxes, leisure batteries, diesel tank and heater.

It has its own independent light source and a removable back to the under bed cabinet (for storage of longer objects like surfboards or kayaks or to give your pets full roam of the van).

MPPT solar controller (controls the solar panels and easily creates enough electric to run all appliances without needing to charge the batteries, making this van the perfect off grid camper)
12v fuse box (all appliances clearly labelled)
240v fuse box
240 V Electric hook up mounted on the outside
240v smart battery charger (this will protect your batteries and increase their life)
20amp DC to DC charger (this charges the leisure batteries whilst the engine is running)
2000w pure sine wave inverter, running two extension leads in the living area, for a total of 4 x 240v sockets. (These are available to use fully off the grid. There’s an extra control panel making it easy to turn off and on to save energy, making it perfect for using normal appliances such as your air fryer, hair dryer or laptop chargers.)
Whilst on electrical hook up, along with the 4 sockets mentioned above, you can power an additional 3x 240v sockets. There's one socket in the boot area and 2 double sockets, one near the table which is perfect for laptop chargers or hair dryers and another in the kitchen where you could plug in your airfryer or coffee machine etc.

◦ A mixture of hard and soft insulation (keeping the van at the perfect temperature at anytime of the year)

◦ 7mm foil insulation (to reduce solar gain, heat loss and reduces moisture)

◦ Carpet (to reduce thermal bridging and increase sound insulation)

◦ In our previous Willow conversions, the walls and ceiling are pine tongue and groove. However our future builds will be upgraded to save weight, we will use treated or painted quality ply.

◦ The floor is hard wood ply, covered with Howdens luxury flooring (easy to clean and sound deadening)

◦ Natural solid oak shelving and table

◦ 5 windows (1 opening nearest cooker) 80% tint

◦ 6 litre hot water tank that only takes 20 minutes to heat up from cold. Perfect for off grid living, only turn it on when you need it!

◦ A collapsible internal shower and basin. The perfect compromise between space and functionality. It hooks under the fan to extract any excess moisture.

◦ Portable USB rechargeable shower pump.

◦ Pop up shower tent and 7L pressure shower unit for private outdoor showering if preferred or rinsing off dogs, bikes, walking boots etc outside of the van.

◦ 70L underslung water tank.

◦ External waste pipe (to reduce weight and fuel consumption)

◦ Thetford toilet (which pulls out from under the smaller seat)

The Willow layout is designed for couples with a fixed double bed, diesel heating, full off-grid electrical system, solar, hot water, removable internal shower, and premium finish throughout. Our campers are built with the capability of both total off grid travel or campsite touring.

You can expect the highest of standards as we have over 20 conversions worth of experience.

◦ Very comfy memory foam mattress. Full size double in width and length!

◦ Optionally, we can create a small removable single/child's bed between the two seats measuring approximately 1.8m by 0.5m.

◦ In our previous conversions we had handmade blinds covering all windows (including a matching magnetic one for the sliding door) this is still an optional add-on. However we plan to upgrade the windows to have built in blinds and bug nets in our future conversions.
